Being outside and in fresh air, kayaking is one of the best activities you can choose to do. Because of its inherent individual nature, we are able to spend much of the day spaced away from each other.
While on the water, we do not require masks. Because they cover our primary breathing holes, if there is an unexpected flip there is risk for suffocation. It is recommended to bring a buff to wear for close proximity conversations and assisted rescues.
When on land, please have a face covering available for close proximity conversations.
Masks are not required for our courses. However, there will be no discrimination for those who choose to wear a mask, and BBB coaches will wear a mask in proximity of those who prefer it.
