A close friend and paddling partner of Alex, Ted began his paddling career also at SUNY Plattsburgh’s Expeditionary Studies program. Like Alex, Ted was introduced to sea paddling along with whitewater kayaking and open canoeing and still practices all three. Over the past few years, Ted has been fortunate to work and played in various parts of the world, traveling, paddling and living in the United Kingdom, Mexico, Nepal, Bolivia, Chile, Washington State, Alaska, and British Columbia.
His main focus and passion is in expedition paddling though he enjoys any day of boating. In addition to his B.S. in expeditionary studies, Ted has a B.A. in philosophy which he continues to study with interest.
