Getting Here - Directions to Orcas Island
A majority of our classes are held on Orcas Island. Our office is here too. You
can get to Orcas by car, shuttle, and air. Directions for all three modes of
transportation are detailed below. You will receive specific directions to the
course location and meeting time in a registration packet that will be sent to
you upon signing up for one of our courses.
BY CAR & FERRY
The San Juan Ferry Terminal is located in Anacortes, WA. This is about a
two-hour drive north from Seattle, and about the same south from Vancouver,
British Columbia. The ferry ride is approximately 1 & ½ hours from Anacortes to
Orcas Island.
From Seattle, take Interstate 5 North to Burlington. From Vancouver, take
Interstate 5 South to Burlington. Take Exit #230 - Highway 20 West to
Anacortes. Follow the signs to the San Juan island Ferry Terminal.
Ferry lines can be long on weekends and during the summer months. We recommend
arriving at the ferry terminal at least 2 hours before departure time. Call
or check the Website for departure times, and current ferry fees.
